|
WHAT SOME PARENTS
HAVE TO SAY |
|
 |
Even before I had children I
thought it important to to raise them as Catholics. Now that I
am a mother, I find it challenging to be a constant
example as a servant of
God, teach my children the Catholic Faith and raise them in a way that
supports that. |
 |
Going to the Parenting with Christ
group has given me a place to ask questions and share my thoughts
about raising my children and provides an atmosphere of Faith for my
family. |
 |
I have learned a lot about
Catholicism that I never ventured to know before, and as a result I
want to know more. |
 |
I have made some great friends and
my children have, too. |
 |
Being new to the area I was very
pleased to find a Faith Share group that met during the day t my new
Church. Then when I found out it was held in the nursery, so we
could bring our children, I was delighted even more. |
 |
Even though my children are in
school, I really enjoy having the opportunity to watch the little ones
play and share. If I am really lucky, I sometimes get to hold a
new born which reminds me what a gift from God each new life is. |
 |
What a blessing it has been to
have our Priests drop by to share their thoughts on the discussion of
the day. |
 |
Not only has this group given me a
place where I can learn and grow in my faith, but it has also helped
me form new friendships. |
 |
I thank God for this Faith Sharing
group, for it is truly the highlight of my new life in Panama City. |
